Getting a holiday to be perfect is not always an easy task, and over the course of these 20 years, Luxury Hideaway has faced many challenges, which have become fun stories over time. “I remember a Russian customer who wanted a star chef to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch and dinner were no problem, but for a star chef preparing breakfast is not really feasible and we had to come to a very generous economic agreement to make it possible after all.” On another occasion, Krauss tells us, “we had an Arab sheikh who found the pool water too hot in summer. To fix it we had to organise a truck with blocks of ice that managed to cool the water.”
